The story

about Alice & Bob

The story

about Alice & Bob

12 Steps
Alice asks Bob for his receiving address via 3rd party messaging tool (email, IM)
Bob receives the request from Alice, opens his wallet application and generates a unique payment address (OTPA)
Bob copies the generated payment address from his wallet and pastes it on the reply message to Alice (email, SMS, etc.)
Alice receives Bob's reply with the payment address, then copies and pasts it to her wallet "send to address field"
Alice sends first a test amount, for verification, since she is not sure Bob's payment address is safe
Once sent, Alice asks Bob to confirm he got the test amount, making sure the payment address is correct
Bob opens his wallet, and checks that he got the test amount. If so, he confirms to Alice the amount was accepted
Alice sends her real payment to the same payment address used in the test transfer
Bob sends message to Alice acknowledging payment
Bob gets the confirmation request from Alice, opens the wallet and checks if the amount was received
Bob replies to Alice confirming that he received the full amount
Alice gets a message from Bob with payment confirmation. Finally :)

KPay solution

The KPay difference

Current payment process

Process is unreasonably complex, time-consuming, with too much room for error
Address is impossible to work with, as inserting 36 random characters is often typed or copied incorrectly
The necessity for multiple out-of-Blockchain messages means that address can be easily hacked
The overall complexity and risk involved in current process make the user experience intimidating to the masses

Our payment solution: KPay completely complies and leverages the blockchain benefits of privacy, security and anonymity

Our payment solution:
KPay completely complies and leverages the blockchain benefits of privacy, security and anonymity

One-click, simple, user-friendly with no errors
Allows private payments as well as online payments on eCommerce websites
Transaction is immediate, secure, and goes directly to payee's wallet
No 3rd party messaging tools needed, everything is handled internally by KPay, hence no room for hacking
Transactions are completely anonymised, (due to the use of OTPA) One Time Payment Address
Supports all existing wallets, all existing coins

*
KPay is not a custodial service
The Cryptocurrency is not transferred to KPay at any time, but transferred directly between wallets

KPay Tokens

The KWallet & KTokens

Like many Crypto services, KPay relies on its own crypto token, the KToken, to drive the service's economy
KPay automatically creates a new KWallet for each new user upon registration. This personal wallet seamlessly handles (with KTokens) all payment transactions of any coin and via any wallet.
If desired, the user, by switching to advanced mode, can become exposed to the complete flow of the KTokens through payment transactions.

FAQ

Which cryptocurrencies does KPay support?

+
KPay supports all cryptocurrencies, from Bitcoin and Ether to the many less-known currencies in the market. it will also support any new crypto coin announced in the future.

Is KPay replacing the wallets used today? Do I have to change my wallet?

+
No. KPay is working under the wallet interface and it supports almost all wallets used in the market, from the most common ones – where KPay is seamlessly integrated with the wallet, to the most obscure wallets - where KPay is actually translating automatically the KPay address to the actual wallet address on the site, with no need for any integration.

Does KPay support also hardware wallets like Trezor and LedgerX?

+
Yes, KPay supports any wallet, including hardware, desktop, mobile and online. It also provides, per the user's request, a KPay wallet for people not owning any wallets or those desiring to replace their current wallets.

How simple is using KPay? Can it be used by the non technical person?

+
Kpay is as simple as paying conventional money with Venmo™ or PayPal™ using the One Click option. Everyone using the internet or smartphone can easily do it, and hence the mass penetration of crypto payments will be much faster.

Do I have to pay for my KPay transaction?

+
KPay offers multiple service models, some are free, some cost micro-fees. With a micro-fee model, every Kpay transaction is paid with a small micro payment (say $0.01) called KToken. When users are initially registered, they pay for a bulk of KTokens that would be used automatically to pay for their transactions, one KToken for one transaction.

What happens when I run out of KTokens for payments?

+
If you run out of KTokens to back your transactions, you will get a notification to buy some new bulk of KTokens, at your choive However, there are built-in incentive mechanisms which automatically fill the user’s wallet with various amounts of KTokens, e.g. when bringing in friends or family to the service- so an active user may scarcely or never need to repay for new KTokens.

As a user, do I need to get into the KPay's tokenomy and manage my KTokens?

+
No, unless you are interested in following your KTokens status. Registering under the (defaulted) Simple Mode definition, you will not need to know anything about the status of your KTokens. Only if you run out of KTokens to back your transactions, you will get a notification to load your account with some additional KTokens. If you register under Advanced Mode you will have access to your KTokens full activity.

Must the receiving party (the payee) be registered to KPay?

+
No. you can use KPay to send any crypto payment to anyone whether registered or not. Registered users will get their payment automatically, while unregistered users will be prompted with the option to register and receive the payment.

Paying through KPay, do I have to wait for the payment recipient to get online?

+
No, your transaction is completed and confirmed as soon as you transfer the crypto from your account. In the current crypto payments process, the dialogues between the payer and payee have to be completed by both sides attending online.

Is KPay handling my private keys?

+
No. KPay is not a custodial service. Your private keys are never shared with KPay.This is actually a major differentiator between KPay and other solutions to try to simplify crypto payments. Custodial service contradicts the main essence of the Blockchain technology: decentralization, that comes with security and privacy.

How can Kpay assure my security, privacy and anonymity?

+
Unlike some other user interfaces for crypto payments, Kpay is built entirely under the blockchain encryption umbrella, and none of the inherent features of that technology is compromised, so the users security and privacy are fully guaranteed.

Can my blockchain history be traced on blockchain logs?

+
No. Embedded in the KPay solution is One Time Payment Address (OTPA) which automatically allocates one-time blockchain address for each transaction, completely randomized, so no user payments can be traced back to their owner by using KPay.

How do I pay with KPay on eCommerce websites?

+
Just like with PayPal™ - once your transaction brings you to the payment section, you will see the KPay button on your eCommece site, most probably next to a credit card or a PayPal button. You just need to click that button and our KPay tool will be invoked and will take care of the payment as defined in the website, from your designated wallet - assuming you have these coins in your crypto wallet.
